Through a sequence of movements combining tone and stretching, we move from the centre (Powerhouse) to the rest of the body. This focusing and the practice make us to have the &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;control&lt;/span&gt; of our movements, and to work good and consciously for to keep us away from injures.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Of course in this practice it’s fundamental the &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;breath&lt;/span&gt; integrated in the movement, not only for regenerate the body, also for to keep the concentration, awareness and present state that makes us able to have precision in each movement.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;One of the purposes of Pilates is to learn through the nervous system, through our senses included the sense of movement (kinaesthetic); then, our body’s memory and mind attach easily the sequence with new healthier patterns while we enjoy the practice with &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;fluidity&lt;/span&gt; of movement, breathing in and breeeeathing out, allowing the flow and energising the whole body.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;What's up with the Mind? I would say that the mind is in our body and our body is also in our mind.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Anyways, in my formation with Peak Pilates there’s a mention of five parts of the mind really involved the practice, which also improve in each session: &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;imagination&lt;/span&gt; (images creates qualities in the movement), &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;intuition&lt;/span&gt; (¿where and how my body moves?), &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;memory&lt;/span&gt; (remember the sequence), &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;intelligence&lt;/span&gt; (ability to work on all the levels before mentioned) and &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;will or desire&lt;/span&gt; (the work it’s up to you!).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;i&gt;*To know ourselves through movement and from that find the balance that makes us present, strong, flexible and sure.
